Entry for GameDevTV 2023 Jam: Life In 2 Dimenisons

For my two dimensions, I brought to life a painting by Swedish artist Karl Jilg which was originally commissioned by the Swedish Road Administration to help reframe how little buffer is given to pedestrians.

The game flashes between a regular road, and a canyon in its place.

In real life, if there were cars driving by, you would be no safer on the road than in the canyon, but with the cars taken off the road, the road can feel safe -this game is to reframe our sense of safety and remind us how responsible we must be with our roads.
